Help Keep the Blog Running

Running the blog takes a good amount of scratch. If you find the time and effort I put in to finding stuff for the blog or facebook, any donations to offset the costs are appreciated. Five or $10 can go a long way. Thanks, Chris Spangle.

Does it matter?

by Chris Spangle ~ January 15th, 2008

I have a question for you readers… Please leave comments. You can post anonymously, so please let me know what you REALLY think, and what bothers you the MOST. NO P.C. BullS^&T here…

 1. Does it matter to you that Barack Obama is black?

2. Does it matter to you that Hillary is a woman?

3. Does it matter that Mitt is a mormon?

4. Does it matter to you that Huckabee is a Baptist minister?

5. Does it matter to you that Giuliani is divorced, has cheated on his wife, and is basically agnostic?

6. Does it matter to you that Michael Bloomberg is Jewish?

7. Does it bother you that John McCain is old?

8. Does it bother you that John Edwards is gay?

  • John Howard
No to all of the above. What bothers me is that not ONE of them is fit to be a President.
  • Hey anonymous, I bet you fifty bucks I know a guy downtown who could change your mind about "learned behavior". I swear to the Most Holy of All Gods, homeless veterans give better hand jobs than Catholic girls . . . by miles.

    1. Does it matter to you that Barack Obama is black? - Hell no it does not matter to me. May the best candidate win.

    2. Does it matter to you that Hillary is a woman? - Yes, this is a problem. In our culture, women are considered equal. How is she going to meet with a Saudi Prince though? It would not be allowed. This is just one example.

    3. Does it matter that Mitt is a mormon? - Nope

    4. Does it matter to you that Huckabee is a Baptist minister? - Nope

    5. Does it matter to you that Giuliani is divorced, has cheated on his wife, and is basically agnostic? - Nope. Look up what little information there is on some of the greatest presidents our country ever had. You might be surprised.

    6. Does it matter to you that Michael Bloomberg is Jewish? - Nope

    7. Does it bother you that John McCain is old? - Nope

    8. Does it bother you that John Edwards is gay? - Yup. There are limits to tolerance, no matter who you are or what you believe. That learned behavior surpasses my limits by miles.

    1) Barack Obama is black?! Did someone tell Rev. Sharpton?

    2) America hates strong women;, nothing makes me sadder than the fact that women are treated as sub-species all over the world, traces of it still linger here in the States. But still, what a bitch, am I right? Up top bro!

    3) Mitt Romney is a wax statute that's been brought to life by sinister robotics, I don't give a shit what religion he is, he's still a fake bastard. Anyone who's a Mormon, however, is ignorant beyond rational belief. I'd rather he be Scientologist, at least there are tangible perks.

    4) I'd be worried about Huckabee being able to say something original and not from a note-card first, and his hatred for gays second.

    5) It bothers me that Giuliani kills baby kittens with a diamond encrusted golf club every Thursday night with Karl Rove.

    6) No, but the question is illogical. If he's already controlling Hollywood with the gay mafia, the world's banks and jewelry stores, how will he ever find the time to get his people to crucify the next Christ and be President all at the same time?

    7) Look, John McCain will be 72 before he could even have the possibility of being President. He's an able man now, but we've all seen the toll being the President takes on a person, easily double the years in office from lack of sleep and doing cocaine with Marilyn Monroe by the side of the underground pool . . . The point is, that a 4 year term can take 8 or 12 years out of a man. Do you really think he'll weather well looking and feeling over 80?

    8) The only thing that bothers me about Edward's being gay is that he's so desperate for cock. I wish he had some dignity. It's almost worse than all those Republicans caught jacking-off 12 year olds in Congressional stalls. The only other people who've tried to suck my dick as hard as John Edwards have been prostitutes, drunk old fags-hags outside shitty clubs, and a blonde, 19 sorority girl wasted on Xanex.

The only thing that matters to me is that I would (for once) like a candidate stand up for what they believe in. Run a campaign on what they believe is best for the country. Not what special interests or relgious groups or their party thinks (or think they think).

No pandering to the group of the moment.

No being wishy-washy about difficult issues.

No buckling under to their party leadership.

I would much prefer a candidate that I would KNOW where they stand. I might not agree with them, but I could count on them not changing with a "consultant's breeze".

Look, it doesn't matter if whomever is running is gay, straight, a womanizer, black, white, mexican, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, old, young, I mean lets be serious here. You and I both know that this is all bullshit. Look around, we're all people. First off, are any of the major candidates going to acutally make any radical change? Be it a more centrist policy from the right side, or a more radical left? No. Nothing will change. Big money will still turn the wheels, the economy will still go sour, and we'll still be following a foreign policy that is bent on bringing back the crusades. This goes for both sides. Face it. We have a one-party state pretending to be a two-party state. One side supports corruption, greed, bigotry and war. While the other side pretends to feel guilty about corruption, greed, bigotry, and war. Don't for one second think that one side is more wrong than the other. The right may be responsible for getting us into half the mess we are in now, but the left got voted in just to end the mess and they can't even grow the guts to use the power of the purse.

So no, it doesnt matter what stereotype you use to define the candidate you're supporting. Because, they're all the same.

    1. No. Skin color doesn't matter as long as his last name is not Bush or Clinton.

    2. No. But she is a Clinton

    3. Yes. Mormonism is a cult. Read "Under the Banner of Heaven" regarding mormonism. Spangle, short book and easy to read even for you and your sidekick, Abdul.

    4. Baptist. No. They are Chistian as opposed to Mormons.

    5. Yes. Rudy cannot commit to a woman, then why would he commit to the will of the people.

    6. Jew. No. But he does have short mans disease.

    7. No, not old but senile.

    8. No. Edwards gay? Come on. If so, he can do me and I will take half of his assets in the pre-nup.

    1. Does it matter to you that Barack Obama is black?

No. If I had to pick between him or Clinton (which would be murder for someone of my politics) I would certainly pick Obama. He is far more likeable, and I think electing a black person President would be good for the nation.

    2. Does it matter to you that Hillary is a woman?

Again, no. I don't like her or agree with her, but it might be nice for little girls to have someone other than a pop start to look up to.

    3. Does it matter that Mitt is a mormon?

    No.

    4. Does it matter to you that Huckabee is a Baptist minister?

    Not for me.

    5. Does it matter to you that Giuliani is divorced, has cheated on his wife, and is basically agnostic?

    No.

    6. Does it matter to you that Michael Bloomberg is Jewish?

As long as I don't have to keep kosher, no.

    7. Does it bother you that John McCain is old?

Depends. McCain seems just as lucid as a man half his age, so I think it won't hurt him. Some people start to get dodgy at that age.

    8. Does it bother you that John Edwards is gay?

Only when he picks up on me.
  • America needs and deserves a president with vision and a proven track record of solving tough problems and delivering real results, a president who can bring America together through true leadership and fine character.

I believe that Mayor Bloomberg, a proven successful businessman and public servant, is that leader to help us rebuild our country.

But, we need to convince him to run:
